History of Super One Foods

Super One Foods is a sister company of U-Save Foods, and Woodland Marketplace Foods in 29 stores that are operated by Miner ´s Inc. in Hermantown, Minnesota.

The family owned Miner’s Inc. by Tony and Ida Miner started in 1943 as a small store that offers the local residents with ice-cold beer. From then on, they have conceived of more products to sell like milk and bread making into being   the Super One Foods, U—Save or Woodland Marketplace Foods store.

Super One Foods has long been involved with the support of many charitable causes. The company associates with the neighborhood and takes responsibility of their basic needs to manifest its being responsible for the community.  What makes the company more successful is its commitment to the philosophy of offering low prices on groceries.

Job Descriptions/ Wage Averages

Sales Associates: These people have the primary role of generating sales and sales leads; attend to customer inquiries; help customers locate the product they want to buy, communicate with the clients about their needs; address some complaints if there any and to see to it that he works accordingly to hit the company’s sales goals. The hourly rate average is from $7 to $10.

Cashiers: This person is responsible for receiving the payment of the customers whether they are in cash, through online payments, credit cards and etc.; he also sees to it that the customers needs are well attended; may also help inform the customers about the new products and services or may also do upselling and other duties which may be assigned to him.

Accounting Clerk: He/She is assigned in the accounting department and thus, he is responsible for the jobs like maintaining a variety of accounting and financial data and information for the company; preparing financial reports and other accounting jobs.

Machine Operator: This person is responsible to utilize the machine assigned to him for production purposes; maintaining the machine and see to it that the machine will remain fully functional, may also perform minor repair when necessary.

Assistant Produce Manager: This person is responsible for working with the Senior managers. His tasks may include, assisting in selecting or hiring produce employees, training, coaching and leading employees and should see to it that the team works according to the company standards. The annual salary may range between   $20K to $22K.
