For more than 159 years, the company has been serving the customers with skin and hair care formulas derived from the most unique natural ingredients.  Kiehls is producing natural hair and skin care products subsidiary of French cosmetics giant L’Oréal. The company is based in New York City which has been operating since 1851.

Job Description/Wage Averages

Customer Representative: If you are assigned in this position, your main tasks revolve around communicating the customers. Specifically, you will be dealing with clients in person or through phone in order to attend to their inquiries, complaints, product needs and other concerns. The average rate is  $12 to $14 per hour.

Store Manager: This position takes charge the overall operation of the store. The store manager hires, trains, evaluates and counsels store employees. He/She is to schedule and organize employee assignments; monitor employee performance and prepare improvement plans; make use of labor management tools, including effective scheduling, to maximize productivity, profitability and margins; ensure that the store provides exceptional customer service and ensure the employees also provide the same level of service; managing marketing and merchandising programs; conduct regular store meetings; see to it that employees have awareness of safety and emergency procedures; monitor and maintain store supplies; managing store revenue, including cash handling, deposit reconciliation and delivery of deposits to bank. The expected annual salary ranges $48k to $52k.

Sales Associate: The tasks and responsibilities of the sales associate include: ensuring that each customer receives high quality services by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service; maintaining an awareness of all promotions; assisting in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock; helping customers in locating merchandise; communicating customer requests to management; helping in completing price changes within the department; assisting in year-end inventory and cycle counts; assisting in ringing up sales at registers and/or bagging merchandise and performing other tasks as assigned from time to time by any manager. The salary average is within $14 to $15 per hour
