History of Busch’s

Busch’s is a supermarket chain headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This business was started by Joe Busch and Charlie Mattis in 1975 when they acquired two stores from Vescio’s Foods. In 1986, when Joe retired, his sons took over and built other stores.

Busch’s is without fail famed as an industry leader when it comes to service, product selection, store design, and overall atmosphere. Job Description/Wage Averages

Cashier: The cashier receives the payment of the customers whether in cash or through credit card. He/She may also assist in attending the needs of the customers and to help in locating the customers’ product need.     In your downtime, you’re going to help assist with keeping the front of the area clean as well as counting down your drawer after your shift is done.   The hourly salary ranges $8 to $11.

Maintenance Associate: This person performs preventive maintenance in designated locations. He/She also ensures that equipment & facilities are kept in good working condition. He/She responds to emergency calls; assists with set-up & remodeling of facilities; installs fixtures & assemble equipment.

Cleaning Specialist: The person assigned in the position will rotate through stores & Central Kitchen performing cleaning projects; operate floor machinery to clean & wax floors; protect product from chemical contamination; follow safety practices, including PPE & lockout/tagout.

Administrative Assistant: If you are in this position, you will be providing administrative  support to Marketing, Facilities, & Operations. You are to compile reports, schedule appointments, maintain files, prioritize maintenance requests and assist with guests concerns.

Bakery Manager: This position is in charge in overseeing the bakery operation; he should cooperate in hiring and evaluating personnel who will work in the bakery department and to ensure that products are according to the company’s defined standards.
