History of Casa Olé

It was in 1973 when Larry Forehand opened the first Casa Olé Mexican Restaurant in Pasadena, Texas; then the second restaurant was opened in Houston, Texas in 1976. In 1978, Casa Olé Franchise Services, Inc. was established and within 12 months the first Casa Olé franchise ere opened. at present, there are more than 45 Casa Olé restaurants in operation.

Since then, Casa Olé’s mission was to create a warm and family oriented atmosphere, serve delicious, high-quality Mexican food and provide best-in-class service. For more than 30 years, the restaurant’s commitment lives on. Job Description/ Wage Averages

Cook: The cook prepares food for guests; ensure that all equipment, utensils and working areas are maintained and well cleaned; he will also coordinate prep amounts with managers, follow recipe instructions, use checklists and prep sheets, responsible for following safe food handling guidelines.   The average wage for this position is going to start at $8 per hour.

Cashier: The cashier handles properly the cash out of the payments made by the customers. He/She will also help in entertaining guests and to ensure that customers will receive products and services they have paid for are in excellent quality.   If any problems do arise, you’ll do your best to help resolve the issue with a restaurant manager.   The average wage for this position is going to start at $8 per hour.

Dishwasher: This position is responsible in cleaning the dishes, glass wares and kitchen utensils. he is also to ensure that the area where the dishes will be stored is cleaned and sanitized.   The average wage for this position is going to start at $8 per hour.

Restaurant Manager: This position manages the entire operation of the restaurant. He   is to ensure that all operation activities of the restaurant is geared towards the attainment of company goals. He/She will also plan and organize the company or restaurant activities; hire and train employees and lead them for the attainment of company standards. He/She is to ensure high quality products offered for the customers.   The average wage for this position is going to start at $13 per hour.
