Job Description/Wage Averages

Line Cook: A line cook simply performs cooking in a particular station in the kitchen; his job may include: taking charge of anything cooked in a sauté pan; taking care of all of the items on the char-grill or flattop grill, such as meats, chicken and fish; taking charge of anything that needs to be deep fried like French fries, chicken fingers, onion rings; and other duties in support to the chef cook.

Restaurant General Manager: This position ensures that the restaurant operation is smooth and efficient and profitable. He/She needs to manage the financial and personnel resources of the company and utilize them for the attainment of set goals. He/She is involved in planning the activities of the restaurant. The manager is responsible for the business performance of their restaurant, maintaining high standards of food, service, and health and safety.

Bartender: This position is engaged in providing every guest with any assistance they may need in relation to the drinks and beverages they order. He/She must consistently provide beverages in accordance to the recipe in a friendly Guest-first manner. He/She must also maintain a well-presented, well-stocked, and clean beverage station.

Busser: This person is the in charge of the dining room and so he must have a dining room awareness and must ensure overall guest satisfaction.
