Costco Manager Salary
Costco is a relatively large wholesale club that offers customers items in bulk. While these stores are rather large, you’re going to find that there will be a whole bunch of manager positions available, when you’re looking for a job here.
Since all Costcos are going to vary state by state, the numbers that you’re going to see below are going to vary depending on your experience, as well as your location.
General Manager
- Salary: You will be paid on a salary basis. You can start off in the $90,000 range, and earn as much as $140,000 a year. It all depends on your experience.
- Bonuses: Costco is known for treating their employees very well. As a manager, you can get hefty bonuses. Managers of the store can earn anywhere from $5,000 to $200,000 a year extra in bonuses alone.
- Profit Sharing: Costco doesn’t deal with profit sharing.
- Stock Options: Managers can receive stock options as part of their packages. These options will run anywhere from $3,000 to as much as $25,000 a year.
Supervisor (through various departments)
- Salary: Will be paid on an hourly basis. You can generally start off at $21 a hour, and make as much as $25.
- Bonuses: Supervisors can earn bonuses based on performances, and more. Bonuses, on average are around $1,500 a year extra.
- Profit Sharing: Costco doesn’t deal with profit sharing.
- Stock Options: Supervisors generally won’t receive any sort of stock options.

- Front End Supervisor: $39,000 to $50,000 a year
- Operations Supervisor: $19 to $26 a hour
- Membership Manager: $44,000 to $62,000 a year
- Tire Center Manager: $39,000 to $62,000 a year
