A popular and upscale mall store, Abercrombie and Fitch was founded in 1892 by David T. Abercrombie.   They currently have over 300 locations in the United States.   Abercrombie also owns the Abercrombie, Hollister and Gilly Hicks brands.


Hours of Operation:   Mon-Sat: 10:00am-9:00pm; Sun: 11:00am-6:00pm

Job Descriptions / Wage Averages

Sales Associate: You will be in charge of folding clothes, running the cash register, stocking, as well as helping customers in the store.   Your duties may also include cleaning up, running promotions, and more.   The average salary for this particular job is anywhere between $6 and $9 a hour.

Assistant Manager: You’re going to be the right hand man/woman to the store manager.   Your duties may include running the store schedule, as well as ensuring that the store is ran properly.   You’re also going to assist the sales associates with any jobs that they may have to complete.   The average wage for this position is $22,000 to $33,000 a year.

Cashier: Working as a cashier will entitle you to working the front counter.   Working at the counter will require you to ring up customers, as well as accept returns if someone brings in something that they want to exchange or something that they simply didn’t like.   You will also help assist the managers will opening and closing down your drawing, counting down your drawer and filling out various paperwork based forms.   The position pays anywhere from $7 to $10 a hour.
