Job Description / Average Wage
Sales Associate: Working on the floor, you will assist customers with their purchase. You will stock shelves, price items, as well as make sure that the store remains cleaned. You will also help customers with any questions, or concerns that they may have. The average wage varies from $7 to $13 a hour.
Cashier: Working in the front of the store, you will ring up customers, as they bring their purchase to the front. On occasion, you will have to process returns as well. You will accept coupons, ring up all items, as well as make sure that the customer was happy with his/her shopping trip. The average wage ranges from $7 to $10 a hour.
Inventory: You will be responsible for running inventory in the store. You will help unload trucks, organize the back of the store, as well as make sure that all of the stock gets to the front of floor. You will also help with pricing, as well as making sure that the stock in the right spot. The average wage is $8 to $12 a hour.
Shift Supervisor: The shift supervisor is going to watch over the entire shift when the main manager isn’t present.
