Job Description and Average Wage
Web Manager: The Web Manager is directly accountable for the supervision and daily management of the Armstrong Garden Center and Pike Nurseries website. This includes improvement, updating, alignment with marketing initiatives and other website associated functions. The position makes sure that website meets business needs and offers a seamless customer experience. This gives relevant and well-timed input to marketing team with regards to commendations for development.
The yearly salary for the successful candidate is $61,000 to $65,000.
Retail Assistant Manager: This position serves as a key member of the store leadership group as well as supports the store manager in general retail location operations. The assistant store manager is accountable for total store operations including, personnel administration, customer service, sales along with inventory controls.
The average wage for this position is $38,000 to $50,000 a year.
Sales Associate: This role interacts with their customers giving superior customer service and outstanding plant advice. He/she helps customers with garden associated queries and commendations. The position will help in general nursery maintenance including watering and pruning plant material. A Sales Associate makes and helps with visual displays also merchandising of products.
The average salary for this job is $10 per hour.
Visual Merchandiser: This position serves as the point of contact for the whole garden center in regards to visual display items. This serves as an integral part of both the garden center crew and the visual merchandising department. He/she evaluates monthly sales planner and promotional calendars for reliability. A Visual Merchandiser gives comment and commendations for store layout, merchandising, et cetera.
The hourly salary is around $11 to $13.
Cashier: The assigned person will offer customers with friendly, efficient and polite service. This job will scan and enter prices of items, implement accurate cash-handling and reconciliation duties. Through using a cash register he position will be obliged to process cash, credit card and debit payments. A Cashier will care for returned products, reimbursements along with special orders.
The average salary for this job is $6-$11 per hour.
