Sales Associates: Sales Associates should create a friendly, service driven and fun environment inthe compaany since they are to generate as many sales as they can.The responsibilities of the person in this position include: drive sales and achieve personal and store goals; show expertise and product knowledge to provide exceptional customer service; assist in product merchandising, display maintenance, and visual changes according to company standards. The hourly rate is $8 to $9.
Assistant Manager: He/She supports the Store Manager to achieve the sales objectives, improve employee performance and ensure efficient store operations. He/She has to lead employees in proper merchandising and maintaining excellent customer service standards. He/She must to ensure that everyone adheres to all company policies and procedures and must demonstrate the upmost professionalism and integrity in creating a climate of trust and respect within the team. The annual salary is $34k to $36k.
Production Assistant: Fashion production assistants commonly track inventory, assist with product design, manage shipping, take care of correspondence, handle research, plan fashion events, answer phone calls, keep on top of email correspondence, monitor expenses and sometimes coordinate travel. The hourly rate is $15 to $17.
Designer: This person confers with the company key employees and the clients to discuss design ideas. He/She will also determine prices for styles; develop new products, coordinate workers for drawing and cutting patterns and creating samples or finished garments; determine new target markets for designs; buy new or used clothing and accessory items as needed to complete designs; research the styles and periods of clothing needed for film or theatrical productions; visit textile showrooms to keep up-to-date on the latest fabrics; attend fashion shows and look on review garment magazines and manuals to research on customer preferences and new trends and to design customized fashion and accessories for clients. The annual salary ranges $81k to $89k.
