Retail Pricing Coordinator: This position is responsible for providing quality customer service to our customers and maintaining standards according to the Grocery Standard Practice Manual, maximizing sales by providing extraordinary customer service, minimizing shrink through proper utilization of Standard Practices, and proper pricing in the store. Replace tags for each item that changes price in all departments. Scan the product or tag for each price change to ensure accuracy. Maintain signage for displays during the price change process. Order and maintain all Warehouse and Direct Store Delivery (DSD) replacement shelf tags on a weekly basis. Adhere to all company guidelines, policies and standard practices. This description is intended to outline the primary responsibilities, general nature and level of work being performed by associate assigned to this position. It is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and competencies.
Assistant Customer Service Sales Manager: The position is responsible for assisting the store team to build sales and achieve sales goals and for maintaining standards according to the Front End Standard Practice Manual, proper completion and maintenance of all store office functions and the training of Front End Sales Assistants on customer service procedures and sales office accountability. Maximize sales through excellent customer service and minimize shrink through proper utilization of Standard Practice.
Grocery Sales Manager: The job description includes: Assisting the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to see that Food Lion customer service standards are met, and that policies, standards and security measures are followed; responsible for maintaining standards according to the Grocery Standard Practice Manual, maximizing sales through excellent customer service and minimizing shrink through proper utilization of standard practices. Serve as a role model for customer service and other vital behaviors and instilling this value in all associates.
Stocker: Responsible for placing product correctly and safely throughout the distribution center after cutting tops on cases. Complete a 10-point daily inspection of equipment used. Ensure compliance with Food Lion standards in the areas of accuracy, safety and productivity. Report any damaged racks and equipment used to supervision. Turn in signed green bar documents. Sweep slots that are used for retrieval and stocking. Notify management of reserve and/or pick slot problems. Pull empty pallets and stack in a safe manner, no more than 15 pallets high, and store in designated location. Replenish pick slots in an accurate, damage-free and timely fashion. Check each drop for pallet number, slot number, pallet count and product description to ensure accuracy. Rotate product in pick slots. Ensure compliance with Food Lion standards in the areas of accuracy, safety and productivity. Strive to find more efficient ways to do the job and seek to reduce costs and improve labor productivity.
Truck Driver: To safely deliver grocery and perishable product to Food Lion, LLC stores as scheduled and safely transport backhauls to distribution centers. Safely operate tractor trailer while maintaining the company’s driving performance standards. Assist in unloading deliveries at stores. Follow proper pre-trip procedures. (ex. Check tire pressure, oil, lights, fluid, checking tires). Maintain and follow all proper delivery and pick up paperwork and procedures. Maintain all D.O.T. paperwork and qualifications. Pick up backhauls at vendor locations, assuring proper count and condition of load. Verify proper operating condition of equipment used. Observe, report and correct (when appropriate) all unsafe and unsanitary conditions that could cause associate and/or customer accidents.
