Job Description/Wage Averages

Sales Professionals :  buybuyBABY is looking for customer service minded individuals to join the sales teams.  They will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of Customer Service, and developing lasting relationships with our registrants. Must also maintain the merchandising standards on the front end, and train/develop a strong front end/registry team. This position has an hourly rate of $10.43 in an average.

Cashier: This position is responsible in receiving the payment whether cash or non-cash from the customers. He/She must be aware of different promotional offerings and price changes in the store. The hourly rate is $9 to $10.

Stock:   Working in the backroom, you’ll be in charge of assisting with unloading trucks, unpacking boxes, pricing items as well as making sure that items are placed in the appropriate spots.   You’ll also assist with bringing inventory to the front of the store.   The average wage can start at $8 per hour.

Buyer : Clothing Buyer is responsible for building differentiated assortments through product selection and development to meet sales and profit objectives. This includes building relationships with branded vendors through line reviews, as well as product development and research for owned brand. Other responsibilities include:  Identifying emerging trends; developing business strategies outlining strengths, weaknesses, new opportunities and risks; building and maintaining a strong relationship with vendors, as well as seek out new suppliers; managing vendor performance to maximize profitability and achieve financial objectives; establishing department direction and priorities, and communicate effectively to merchant team and field organization

Store Manager: Store Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining outstanding Customer Service. He/She is responsible for the various tasks in the overall operation of the store including measuring business trends, maximizing sales/profitability by developing a staff, controlling expenses, shortages and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control. buybuyBABY offers a generous compensation package and relocations are available. buybuyBABY is an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to promoting a culturally diverse workplace.
