Just about every state today has a casino in it. While there are states that don’t allow them because of local laws, the states that do have casinos have them spread throughout the state. Casinos can commonly be found on resort campuses, equipped with many various restaurants, hotels, and more. Because of this, there are many jobs available.

Occupations available: Dealer, Pit Boss, Restaurant Staff, Hotel Staff, Janitorial, Cashier, Waitress, Bartender

Education needed: Most casinos are going to put their employees through specialized training when it comes to the dealer tables. While it helps to have previous experience, many may find that attending a local dealer school can help their chances at landing a job. At a dealer school, a new dealer can learn the ropes on how games such as blackjack, craps, and roulette work. While the schooling isn’t mandatory, taking these classes will enable one to increase their chances at landing the job.
