Job Description and Average Wage

Sales/Cashier: Responsibilities comprise welcoming customers at point of sale, handling cash and credit card transactions, exchanges, promoting company credit cards and gift cards. Assistant Buyer/Allocator: The Assistant Buyer/Allocator is responsible for inventory placement from the DC to the stores. The position reports and partners with the Buyer on direction, assortment and priorities. As buyer, you have to plan and project inventory requirements; perform the weekly inventory needs in all stores; evaluate sales and inventory data and applies finding to current trends; make recommendations toward flow as to achieve weeks of supply, stock and turn objectives; assist in the selection of product; visit stores several times a season.

Loss Prevention Manager: A leader that develops and executes a strategic plan to reduce inventory shrinkage in the store. Directly supervises and trains a large staff of Loss Prevention Associates. Coordinates all apprehensions of shoplifters and uses APIS case management
software to document and analyze all incidents. He/She utilizes XBR fraud software and digital CCTV equipment to generate internal cases and conducts internal investigations and interrogations of dishonest employees. Develops relationships with government agencies to prosecute cases (i.e. NYPD, Secret Service, DA’s Office, etc.). He/She is responsible to enforce company policy and develop shortage awareness programs. He/She controls all of Loss Prevention payroll and non-payroll expenses. Audits company procedures and standards to ensure compliance.
