Chili’s Manager Salary
Chili’s is a famous restaurant owned by Brinker International which serves American food influenced by Tex Mex cuisine. Chili’s had their humble beginnings in Dallas, Texas. Founder Larry Lavine turned a postal station into a full service restaurant that serves a variety of menu at affordable prices in 1973. Chili’s now has over 1,400 stores all over the world, mostly located in Canada and United States.
A Chili’s manager must be hands on in every aspect within the restaurant. Restaurants have receptionists but the responsibility may fall into the manager if there are several customers walking in especially during peak hours. The manager provides assistance to the entire workforce functioning in the restaurant.
They should also have a keen eye in checking items and equipment used for cooking and must make sure that none is broken. Customers may complain once in a while and it is their duty to make sure that this is handled well. At the end of the day, owners should be given full reports of the day’s operations.
