Founded back in 1087, they are known for their discounted Women’s fashion, you can find most DOT stores in a strip mall near you.   As they continue to grow, you can find more than 400 stores throughout the United States.   Delivering on the latest fashion, they strive to create a fun, and exciting atmosphere.

Job Description / Average Wage

Store Associate / Team Member: As a team member, you’re going to work in the store, where you will help fold clothing, stock it, as well as price it. You will be in charge of also assisting customers, where you will help them find clothing, as well as look for other types of clothing in the back.   You will keep the store clean, as well as run the cash register, where you will ring up customers, and process returns.   The average wage is $7 to $9 a hour.

Assistant Manager: As a manager, you will run the store, when the main store manager isn’t present.   You will assist with opening the store, as well as closing it down, when you’re needed.   You will also assign tasks,   as well as make sure that the store is running according to corporate policy.   The average wage is around $9 to $18 a hour.

Inventory / Stock: This position will require that you work in the back of the store unloading trucks, managing inventory, as well as putting it in the appropriate spots in the back.   You’re going to also bring all the items to the front of the floor and stock them to perfection.   You may also help with cleaning, as well as helping associates with any duties that they need help with.   This position can pay anywhere from $8 to $13 a hour.

Store Manager: This position is going to require that you run the whole store according to company standards.   You’re going to help with opening, closing, as well maintaining and reporting any problems about the store.   This duty is also going to require that you help hire employees, run the payroll and perform many of the various store associate duties.   All problems will be reported to the district manager.   The average wage is anywhere from $33,000 to $45,000 a year.
