History of DSW

DSW was founded back in 1991, where they created their first store back in a town of Dublin, Ohio.   As of today, they operate more than 300 stores in more than 35 states.   Headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, they have thousands of employees, and grow on a consistent basis annually.

Job Description / Average Wage

Sales Associate: You will help with many various tasks across the store over at DSW.   You will stock shoes, you will organize, and keep the store looking clean.   You will assist customers with finding sizes, as well as answering any questions that they may have.   The average wage is $8 to $10 a hour.

Cashier: You will be in charge of working the front of the store, where you will ring up customers as they come up with their purchase.   You will upsell them on the DSW plan, as well as make sure that they have found everything.   The average wage for this position is $8 to $10 a hour.

Assistant Manager: You will assist the main manager of the store, where you will do just about everything the associates manage to do.   You will be asked to override transactions from time to time.   You will also assist with various paperwork, opening the store, as well as closing it.   Your average wage is around $9 to $12 a hour.
