History of Etihad Airways

Etihad Airways is the flag carrier airline of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Etihad denotes union in Arabic, the name deriving from the Arabic for United Arab Emirates. Founded in 2003, Etihad commenced operation on November later that year.

The airline manages close to 147 daily flights to 64 destinations in 42 countries, via a fleet of 57 aircraft. Its operation is greatly centered in Europe and Asia, as well as Oceania, Africa and North America. Job Description / Average Wage

Cabin Crew: You will be accountable for ensuring the safety of their guests as well as providing excellent customer service at all times. Their Cabin Crew is Etihad’s prime ambassadors, and your role will include inspiring their guests, displaying a high degree of motivation, enthusiasm and commitment in everything you do. This position pays an average wage of around $35,000-$50,000 annually.

Onboard Food and Beverage Manager: Using your wide food and wine knowledge, it is your liability to motivate their guests, give recommendations and help make their journey a unique and memorable experience, especially in relation to culinary excellence. In addition, you will guarantee guest satisfaction and lead the service in their premium cabins under the direction of the cabin manager. You will also work with the rest of the cabin crew to guarantee the safety of their guests onboard their aircraft at all times. This position compensates an average salary of around $35,000-$52,000 annually.

Office Coordinator: You will be accountable to professionally administer the office functions and associated administration supporting station management. This would also include infrastructure maintenance, purchasing and services supporting the operation. The position would include handling correspondence and performing projects that could be of a confidential nature, which must be maintained at all times. The average wage for this job is $11 — $12 an hour.

Human Resources Manager: To direct and support delivery of a strategic, professional and world class HR management service that drives best practice in all features of people management and development. You will be responsible to:

• Guarantee consistent application of HR policies, procedures and practices, in order to minimize risk and financial exposure.
• Provide advice and direction to line managers on policy interpretation as required.

The average wage for this job is around $51,000 — $75,000 a year.

Account Manager: The tasks are to achieve gainful sales revenue to an agreed target for a sales territory and/or portfolio of clients. To promote the Etihad brand, products and services through the primary distribution channels obtainable to negotiate and account manage commercial agreements with top national accounts. You will be responsible for:

• Achieving the set revenue, yield and volume targets through zone.
• Sales calls to focus on top 20% of agents/corporate.
• Recording all sales action in SFA data base.

The annual salary is around $33,000-$70,000.
