History of Famous Famiglia

Famous Famiglia started for more than two decades ago. From then on the company is guided with its branding philosophy, “You’re only as good as your reputation”. This means, the customers and business partners of the company are given that high regard they deserve.

In the summer of 1986, the family opened the pizzeria, Famous Famiglia, in the heart of New York City! In the years to follow, several more pizzerias throughout New York City, and the Famous Famiglia pizza chain quickly became a leader in the New York pizza market and earned the title of “New York’s Favorite Pizza”.

Famous Famiglia operates in locations like leading airports and transportation hubs, malls and shopping centers, colleges and universities, theme parks, hotels and casinos, stadiums and arenas, military bases, medical centers, motorways, and in-line urban downtown locations. The Famous Famiglia brand currently has stores in the United States, Mexico, Asia, and Europe.

Job Description/Wage Averages

Opening Specialist: This position has the responsibility to travel widely and help to launch new locations. All Team Famiglia members must be able to travel at least 60% of the time, both domestically and internationally.

Field Managers: This person takes charge of training with Team Famiglia in general QSR operations and then train to take the helm of a specific restaurant location. Candidates must be able to travel to and train at our official training locations in New York.

Restaurant Managers: The restaurant managers will oversee, plan, and direct all restaurant activities; he will also be responsible in hiring and training employees; and to make sure that all activities in the restaurant are done according to standards.

Cashier: The cashier receives the customers payment for the orders they have. The payment may be in the form of cash or through credit cards; he is also responsible in attending to the customer’s needs and may also answer customer inquiries.
