Job Description/Wage Averages

Restaurant Manager: This position takes charge of the whole operation of the restaurant. Primarily, this person will ensure that the human and financial resources of the company are utilized appropriately and according to the company’s goals and standards. He/She is to command staff and lead as well as manage the staff and the restaurant activities for guest satisfaction; supervise cash handling procedures and hire as well as train new employees.   The average wage for this position starts at $13+ per hour.

Server: This person’s basic responsibility is to ensure customer’s satisfaction by promptly attending the needs of the customers. he serves the orders according to the guests’ preferences and by taking into consideration the company’s standards as well.   The average wage for this position starts at $3+ per hour plus tips.

Cashier: This person process bills of the customers; receives the payment in cash or through credits cards; handles the money properly and should help in maintaining the guests’ satisfaction for the services of the company.   The average wage for this position starts at $8+ per hour.

Dishwasher: This person must ensure that the dishes, the kitchen wares and the kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized as well as stored in the proper place.   The average wage for this position starts at $8+ per hour.

Chef: This person prepares and cooks foods according to the recipe; he has to perform an exciting high volume kitchens and assist in establishing and enforcing food specifications, portion control, recipes and sanitation; control food production and labor costs.   The average wage for this position starts at $8+ per hour.
