History of Fila

The Fila ® brand began in 1911 when the Fila brothers started the business in the small town of Biella, Italy. The said town is renowned for manufacturing the finest textiles and weaving fabrics of highest quality and craftsmanship.

What transformed Fila into a worldwide leader of designing high-end sportswear is its philosophy of innovation that has been the center of successful designs. In 1923, the brothers entered into a limited partnership named Maglficio Biellese. In 1942, the company merged with the Fratelli Fila company, and by 1972 the company had sales of over one billion lire and a total workforce of more than 250 people.

Fila has enjoyed a special relationship with renowned athletes in the whole world who have been using Fila gear users and has been the epitome of excellence of several significant events — to mention a few, Fila and iconic F-Box logo proudly reached the highest peaks of the world; slid down the slopes with Ingemar Stenmark in his pursuit of 86 World Cup titles; graced the greens of British Opens and two Masters Titles with Tom Watson; skirted the frosty trails of Italy with Alberto Tomba; arched triumphant on the shoulders of Monica Seles and Guillermo Vilas; the company was also there in 2009 when Svetlana Kuznetsoza won the French Open and a lot more making Fila’s humble beginnings synonymous with performance and sophistication, a legendary legacy!

Customer Service Representative: This is one of the key employees of the company. His roles include: handling complaints, processing requests, entering orders and even some sales; communicating with customers by telephone or in person in order to provide information about products and services, to take orders or cancel accounts, or to obtain details of complaints; keeping records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken; resolving customers’ service or billing complaints by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, and adjusting bills; identifying charges for services requested, collect deposits or payments, and/or arrange for billing; completing contract forms, prepare change of address records, and issue service discontinuance orders, using computers; gathering sale of new or additional services or products; reviewing claims adjustments with dealers, and other tasks assigned to him. The average salary differs from one location to another.
