Founded by former firefighters back in 1994, Firehouse Subs today has over 375 locations that can be found primarily in the southern United States.   Founded back in 1995, they are known for themed named sandwiches, as well as hot sauces that you can put on your sub.   They have won numerous awards as well from publications such as KPMG.

Job Description / Average Wage

Team Member: As a team member, you will work the counter, where you will do various jobs.   You will prep the food, keep the counter clean, as well as help the customers make the subs that come into the shop.   You will cook their order to perfection, as well as answer any questions that they may have.   The average wage is $7 to $9 a hour.

Cashier: Working as a cashier, you will ring up the orders as they come down the line.   You will help them with their drink, as well as any side that they would like to add to their meal.   You will also help assist the team members with any job that needs to be done.   You will clean up the shop, as well as help with other various duties in your downtime.   The average wage is $7 to $9 a hour.

Shift Leader: A shift leader is going to watch over the restaurant when the main manager isn’t going to be in the restaurant itself.   You’re going to help the other associates, as well as ensuring that they are doing their job at 100%.   You’re also going to have the overriding decisions when it comes to placing an order.   The average wage is anyhwere from $8 to $10 a hour.

Assistant Manager / Supervisor: Working as a supervisor, you’re going to be in charge of opening, as well as closing down the store.   You will assign tasks, as well as ensure that all employees are doing their job properly.   You will also report to the main manager with any jobs that come up.   The average wage starts at $9+ a hour.

Main Manager: The main manager is going to run the whole restaurant.   You’re going to open the restaurant, close it down, as well as ensure that the whole restaurant is running at 100%.   You’re also going to want to make sure that the store is running to corporate standards.   The average wage is anywhere from $37,000 to as much as $42,000 a year.
