History of Great American Cookies

Great American Cookies had its first store opened in the year 1977 at Atlanta, Georgia’s Perimeter Mall. It offers the generations-old family chocolate chip cookie recipe, which has become the standards for years and has been the reason for the company’s continued success.

From its humble beginnings, Great American Cookies expanded in malls across the country still offering not just cookies but brownies, including our signature Cookie Cake product, making it one of the best cookie companies in the industry. American Cookies use only the finest, fresh-baked goodies in its stores.

Job Description/Wage Averages

Cashier: The cashier receives the payment of the customers. He/She must be knowledgeable about the prices of all the products as well as the price discount if there are any. He/She has to make sure that the company’s guidelines will be adhered.   If problems arise, you’ll do your best to resolve the problem. This position will receive the salary in the average of $8 per hour.

Assistant Store Manager: Assistant Store Managers create a friendly service driven and fun. His responsibilities include: driving sales and achieving personal and store goals; assisting in managing all aspects of a product driven retail operation to provide exceptional customer service; representing values of the company and maintaining customer satisfaction.   The average wage for this position can start at $11 per hour.

Sales Associate: This position is in charge in generating sales. He/She must ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining solid product knowledge and all other aspects of in sales.   This position will receive the salary in the average of $8 per hour.

Baker: This person prepares/bakes the cookies according to company standards. The baker is responsible for making a wide range of breads, pastries, and other baked goods.   In your free time, you’re going to assist with preparing goods for the next day, cleaning up the kitchen, and making sure that all of the associates are getting the help that they need.   This position will receive the salary in the average of $8 per hour.
