Job Description/Wage Averages

Hotel Assistant Manager: This position supports the General Manager in hotel operations. The Assistant Manager will oversee a large variety of duties with major emphasis on front office operations. Specific duties include: Managing and training front office personnel, reconciling daily bookwork .Ensuring high quality customer service interaction in the front office and reservations area. Revenue and yield management Group contract administration and correspondence Support the General Manager with facility, housekeeping, and maintenance operations, including a Front Desk shift.   The average wage can start at $11 per hour.

Sales Manager:  The Sales Manager assists with the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies for the hotel, including securing new accounts and maintaining existing accounts, to maximize the profitability of the hotel and maintains customer satisfaction; negotiates guest room rates, meeting room rental, function space, and hotel services within approved booking guidelines. Confirm in writing to the client all requirements via sales contract. Conduct tours of the hotel and meeting space and entertains qualified potential clients. Respond quickly to guest requests and follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.   The average wage can start at $15 per hour.

Housekeeper: Housekeeper is responsible for the general cleaning and upkeep of guestrooms and other assigned areas. Requirements include: the ability to lift, bend, move heavy equipment; remain on one’s feet for extended periods of time; and an individual who is team oriented and dedicated to providing excellent service and ensuring that IHR’s highest cleanliness standards are met.   The average wage can start at $11 per hour.

Front Desk: Receives the payment of the clients for the services and amenities. He/She should be good and tactful enough in dealing with the customers.   You’ll help with taking calls, assisting guests at the door as well as ensure that they were happy with their stay.   The average wage can start at $11 per hour.
