History of the Huddle House

The Huddle House is a chain of restaurants that are located throughout the United States.   They are a diner based restaurant that is opened more than 24 hours.   With over 400 locations, you can find them in around 17 states.     Founded back in 1966, you can find the main headquarters in Decatur, Georgia.

Job Description / Average Wage

Waitstaff / Waiter / Waitress: Working on the waitstaff, you’re going to be in charge of seating the customers that come into the diner, as well as seating them.   You will take drink, as well as food orders.   You will bring their food out to their table, as well as make sure that they are happy with their food purchase. The average wage is $2 to $4 a hour, plus tips.

Cook / Kitchen Staff: Working in the kitchen, you’re going to cook food according to the company’s guideline.   You will help open up the diner, as well as close it down. You will prep ingredients, as well as make sure that the kitchen remains clean.   The average wage is around $8 to $11 a hour.

Supervisor / Assistant Manager: Working as a manager, you’re going to watch over the entire diner.   You’re going to make sure that the employees are doing their job, as well as assign tasks to them.   You will also help the kitchen staff, as well as assist those in the kitchen as well.   The average wage ranges from $9+ a hour.
