Icing is one of the stores owned and operated by Claire’s Stores, Inc., one of the world’s leading specialty retailers of fashionable accessories and jewelry for young women, teens, tweens and girls. Job Description/Wage Averages

Purchasing Coordinator: This person ensures timely processing of the supply requests. He will also Order office supplies, handle exchanges and returns for Hoffman Estates and Florida offices; Order business cards, nameplates, stamps and locker keys ; monitor monthly components in New Hire Packets; set up signage and process GPR’s; process all invoices and send accruals to Florida; enter fixture orders into the Internet, match and file.

Purchasing Agent: The position will purchase store supplies and fixtures using the most cost efficient means, by working closely with the Director; review and maintain adequate supply stock levels for all store supply items, which include office supplies, printed material, janitorial supplies, replacement lighting, gift cards, customer bags and store fixtures; issue RFP’s, evaluate responses, analyze and compare pricing and recommend best solutions; assist in sourcing and testing of new items; set up new items in system and monitor pricing; establish reorder points and monitor inventory levels; request inventory counts and make inventory adjustments; enter orders and expedite deliveries; monitor backorders and work with DC to ensure that backorders are shipped; identify obsolete items; maintain sample library; request and update MSDS sheets and send to stores.

Global Marketing Manager: Oversee  development and implementation of global web and social media, from day to day execution to long term strategy that supports the Claire’s Stores Inc. sales and profitability. Manage the Global strategy and execution of all web content for Claire’s and Icing brands. Direct social media initiatives in partnership with our creative agency.   Search out opportunities to build on-line brand awareness through existing and emerging social media channels. Start to finish responsibility for development through deployment of web projects, including documentation and status reports throughout each project phase. Maintain web calendars.   Organize and clearly communicate content direction and updates to creative agency and all internal departments. Ensure website content accuracy, deployment quality assurance, and proactively initiate site improvements. Manage relationship with North American, eCommerce, European, and Franchise partners ensuring a consistent Global brand image.

Product Merchant: The position will manage the optimum assortment for franchisees based on an understanding of the North American and European range and analytical insight into customer needs, competitive landscape and retail trends.   Review analysis to track and recommend actions which support plans to drive sales and profitability for franchisees.
