Job Description / Average Wage
Customer Service: You will work the main customer service desk. You will help process returns, work with the lottery tickets, as well as assist them with any other problems that they may have. You will also help with returning items back to the floor that customers bring in. The average wage is from $10 to $14 a hour.
Cashier: You’re going to be responsible for ringing people up as they come to the front of the store. You’re going to accept coupons, cash and handle credit card transactions. You’re going to help the customer with any questions that they may have. You’re going to also assist them with any other issues that they may have with their order. The average wage is $7 to $10 a hour.
Bagger: You will help the cashier bag the customer’s groceries. You will bag them to perfection, as well assist some customers out to their car. You will also help collect carts out in the parking lot. In your downtime, you may be asked to clean and more. Your average pay will be from $7 to $9 a hour.
Grocery Clerk: You will be assigned to a specific department. Whether it’s produce, frozen foods, or another area, you will help stock foods, keep your department clean, as well as make sure that the customer can find what he/she is looking for. The average pay is anywhere from $9 to $13 a hour.
Supervisor: You’re going to watch over a particular department that you’re assigned to. You’re going to make sure that the entire department is being ran smoothly. You’re going to help with assigning tasks, stocking shelves, organizing, as well as helping with overriding transactions with customer issues. The average wage is $9 to $15 a hour.
