History of Jamba Juice

Founded back in 1990, Jamba Juice has been growing like a weed, serving more than 700 locations in more than 30 states.   You can find their headquarters today in Emeryville, California.       Known for their quick service juice based drinks, you can find many of the Jamba Juices in your little downtown’s across the United States.

Job Description / Average Wage

Team Member: As a team member, you’re going to work at the counter.   You will run the counter, where you will take orders, process the order, as well as make sure that the customer is satisfied with their purchase.   You will also help clean equipment, stock the ingredients, as well as make sure that the lobby / tables, and everything else is clean.   The average wage is $7 to $11 a hour.

Trainer: As you become more experienced with your shift and job, you’re going to start helping those that want to get a job here.   You’re going to help with training, working the job and more.   The trainer is also going to perform many of the other jobs that are done as well such as cashiering, cleaning and more.   The average wage is anyhwere from $7 to $10 a hour.

Shift / Team Lead: You will lead the entire shift, when the main store manager isn’t present.   You will assign tasks to employees, as well as make sure that the store is running at 100%.     You will also perform many of the tasks the team member performs as well.   Your average team lead makes around $8 to $14 a hour.

Cashier: As a cashier, you will be asked to run the cash register all the time.   You will ring up orders, as well as assist the other team members behind the counter as well.   You will also help with cleaning, and making the drinks during the slower times.   The average wage is around $7 to $11 a hour.

General Manager: The general manager is going to watch over the entire shift.   He/she is going to make sure that the store is running at 100%.   You’re going to help assign tasks, hire, as well as make sure that the store is running properly during a shift.   You’re going to also help with the many various tasks that are assigned.   The average wage is anyhwere from $15 to $20 a hour.
