Job Description/Wage Averages
Assistant Manager: You will need strong leadership and communication skills with a personality to excel in an innovative, quality fashion orientated environment that encourages you to use your own initiative, creativity and flair in your merchandising as well as being accountable for the profitability of a branch. Applicants must possess effective retailing skills and have a good educational background.
Stocks Associates: The responsibilities include driving sales to achieve personal and store goals; serving as an expert on product knowledge to provide exceptional customer service and attending customer needs.
Manager: The store Manager works by planning and implementing strategies to drive sales and improve employee performance. He/she is responsible for the overall operations, sales and profitability of the store. He knows about proper merchandising and maintaining excellent customer service standards. The store Manager must adhere to all company policies and procedures and must be a role model and demonstrate the up most professionalism and integrity while creating a climate of trust and respect within the team. He/she must keep an open mind when dealing with customer and employee issues, listen to others and make fair and honest decisions accordingly. He monitors the performance of the employees as well.
Sales Associate: This person is in-charge in generating sales, merchandising and general upkeep of the store’s cleanliness and appearance. Ensuring that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting, acknowledging and re-approaching every customer, maintaining solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service; keeping informed on the most current promotions and advertisements; assisting in merchandising, displays and maintenance of the store’s cleanliness; replenishing merchandise, monitoring floor stock and processing shipments; directing customers in locating merchandise; processing cash/credit/debit purchases at register; adhering to all company policies per the employee manual; complying with policy and regulations as per the company’s employee manual with regards to integrity and loss prevention.
