Job Description / Average Wage

Sales Associate: Working as a sales associate, you will help customers with their purchase, as they come into the store.   You will help them fit shoes, as well as find them in the back, if the size isn’t on the floor.   You will run the cash register, as well as keep the store clean, according to company policy.   The average wage is anywhere from $8 to $10 a hour.

Inventory:   Working in the back room of the store, you’re going to be responsible for unloading trucks, unpacking merchandise and making sure that everything is being ran according to plan.   You’re going to organize the back room as well as make sure that the clothing is all on the main floor.   You will help assist the associates with any duties that they may have as well as assist the store manager with any duties that need to be done.   The average wage can start at $8 to $10 per hour.

Floor Supervisor / Manager: You will watch over the floor, when the main manager isn’t in the store.   You will help assign tasks, as well as perform many of the tasks that the sales associates perform.   You will also assist the main store manager with opening, as well as closing down the store.   The average wage is anywhere from $9 to $15 a hour.

Store Manager: As a store manager, you’re going to run the show.   You’re going to hire your employees, run inventory, as well as payroll and more.   You will also make sure that your store is running according to company guidelines.   If any problems do persist, you will report to the corporate level.   Managers report that they start around $32,000 a year+
