History of Ker’s WingHouse ® Bar & Grill

Ker’s WingHouse ® Bar & Grill is a dining restaurant headquartered in Largo, Florida. This restaurant blends a casual sports-bar style with entrees and great values with menu selections which are classic American favorites and fun-filled ambiance.   The first Ker’s WingHouse ® Bar & Grill was also opened in Largo, Florida, in 1994.

Job Description/Wage Averages

Restaurant Manager:  The person who is appropriate for this position must have strong leadership with previous experience in managing store operations and building sales within a community. he takes charge of the overall restaurant operations; hiring and training employees and checking if the employees are working according to the company’s standards as well as towards the company’s goals.   The average wage starts at $13 per hour.

Hostess: The host or hostess of the restaurant will manage the activities of the dining room in the restaurant. Other duties include making sure that all menus are wiped down, free of spots or stains and complete; ensuring that the restaurant is attractive and  inviting; checking restaurant reservations; planning out reservations; entertaining guest and visitors and performing other restaurant activities.   The average wage starts at $8 per hour.

Bartender: The bartenders are responsible for preparing the restaurant drinks according to standards and customer preferences.   The average wage starts at $8 per hour plus tips.

Purchasing Manager: The purchasing manager must possess a broad experience in the purchasing field- buying across multiple commodities simultaneously while also developing corporate purchasing initiatives and procedures.     The basic duties and   responsibilities include: searching for new reliable and alternative vendors or suppliers who meet company standards; planning, developing, and directing activities of the acquiring supplies; developing and implementing purchasing policies, procedures and guidelines and establishes buying limits; selecting and ordering merchandise from manufacturers, growers or other sellers; and participating in bidding and selection process.   The average wage starts at $14 per hour
