The Knott’s family has started the business since June 1934. The business has grown into one of the country’s largest full-service family eateries. Every h dinner with Knott’s is made from the “just-right” plump birds she insisted upon, and the fixin’s still include lighter-than-air buttermilk biscuits, fluffy mashed potatoes, rich chicken gravy and mouth-watering farm-fresh vegetables. Job Description/Wage Averages

Park Service Attendant: The primary responsibility of a Park Service Attendant is to ensure the total “Knott’s Experience” for our guests. This includes providing superior guest service by initiating guest interactions; providing guests with information and directions; and ensuring guests’ high expectations are met in terms of overall park cleanliness. Through teamwork, complete park aesthetics will be ensured by sweeping water from midways, keeping the midways clean of debris, emptying park trash cans, and bussing tables at outside food locations. Rest room cleanliness and safety are provided by ensuring the floors remain dry and free of debris. Facilities are kept clean and sanitary by wiping down counters, sinks, lavatories, mirrors, and partitions. In addition, rest room dispensers are stocked with supplies on a regular basis. The hourly rate is in the average of $8.

Counter Service Clerk: Counter Service Clerk is to assist the guest in making food purchases. This includes helping the guest decide what type of food they would like, taking the guest’s order, ringing the sale on a cash register, accepting payment from the guest, and giving the guest their food order. Other responsibilities include preparing cooked foods to fill orders; packing food to go; and maintaining a clean, sanitary environment by cleaning the work area and washing dishes as needed.

Fry Cook: This position is responsible for producing and preparing food in accordance with Knott’s Berry Farm quality standards. This position is also required to keep cooking are clean and sanitized and adhere to all Orange County health department rules and regulations. Able to keep up with orders as they come in.

Ride Maintenance Mechanic: This position is responsible for opening and maintaining amusement rides on a daily basis. Will conduct safety inspections, perform ride rehabilitation, and new ride installation. Troubleshoot as needed.
