Krispy Kreme founder was Vernon Rudolph. Mr. Rudolph worked for his uncle Ishmael Armstrong who had purchased a recipe for yeast-raised donuts and also a little shop in Paducah, Kentucky. That is where Mr. Rudolph came up with the idea for Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. These donuts are very delicious and found in stores like Wal-Mart and Target. Many grocery stores are glad to have Krispy Kreme doughnuts on their shelves. Krispy Kreme doughnuts were known throughout the 1960’s in the southeastern United States. Krispy Kreme doughnuts became well known in Ontario, Canada by 2001 leaving the United States to expand even farther.
