Job Description/Wage Averages

Cashier: This position handles the payments of the customers; he will also assist other restaurant workers in ensuring customer satisfaction; responding to customer inquiries.   The average wage for this position will generally start around $8 per hour.

Dishwasher: This person is responsible in cleaning and sanitizing the dishes, cook wares and other kitchen utensils and store them in the proper place; in addition, he is also to ensure that the area where these kitchen utensils and dishes be kept should be well cleaned.   The average wage for this position will generally start around $8 per hour.

Restaurant Manager: The restaurant manager will oversee all the activities within the restaurant. He/She is also engaged in planning and making sure that the goals of the company are attained. He/She is to supervise the restaurant workers and guide them in attaining customer satisfaction. He/She also plans and organizes the company or restaurant activities; he will hire ompetetent employees and direct them towards the attainment of goals. He/She is to ensure high quality products offered for the customers.   The average wage for this position will generally start around $13 per hour.

Cook: The cook is responsible in preparing food using the restaurant specifications in a timely manner and according to the customer preferences. He/She must observe all food safety standards during food preparation.   The average wage for this position will generally start around $8 per hour.

Busser: This position takes charge in the dining room and so he must have a dining room awareness and must ensure overall guest satisfaction.   The average wage for this position will generally start around $8 per hour.
