Moe’s Southwest Grill is an American chain with a casual style Tex-Mex restaurants headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Moe’s Southwest Grill operates more than 400 fast-casual eateries in about 35 states and the restaurants offer standard of Tex-Mex favorites like burritos, quesadillas, and fajitas. Almost all of the company’s restaurants are operated by franchisees.
Job Description/Wage Averages
General Manager: As a general manager in Moe’s Southwest Grill, the individual is expected to be a results-oriented person who possesses strong communication skills with adequate experience. He/she must follow the work ethics set by the company and adhere to the company’s policies. The different duties and responsibilities include: Developing and leading the restaurant team with integrity and respect; showing accountable for sales growth; maintaining high standards of cleanliness; maintaining high standards of service and quality; hiring staff to operate the restaurant based on company standards; scheduling staff to operate the restaurant and accommodate guest flow volumes; controlling payroll to meet company labor cost standards balanced with service delivery; training the management team and crew using current company training systems; evaluating performance at company designated intervals; conducting management, crew and shift meetings as needed to discuss operations procedures, promotions, sales goals, safety, training, etc; ensuring all sanitation and safety policies and procedures are recognized and enforced to ensure a safe environment for all. The salary per year is int he average of $38,805.
Server: As a server in Moe’s Southwest Grill, the individual is expected to be a results-oriented person who possesses strong communication skills with adequate experience. He/she must follow the work ethics set by the company and adhere to the company’s policies.The specific responsibilities include: maintaining high standards of cleanliness, standards of service and quality; maintaining a harmonious working relationship with owners, management team, and crew; handling all cash transactions; ensuring personal appearance meets company standards; and ensuring all sanitation and safety policies. The hourly average rate is $7.49.
Busser: This position is the in charge of the dining room and so he must have a dining room awareness and must ensure overall guest satisfaction as well as he must keep the dining area well arranged and clean.
Host: This person also mans the dining area and must manage the personnel well in order to attain customer satisfaction. He/She must arrange and schedule dining reservations; provide menu for the guests and attend to customers’ needs.
