History of Nebraska Book

The Nebraska Book Company or (NBC) started during the year 1915 with only a single bookstore standing near the university grounds of the University of Nebraska. After World War II, since the demand for textbooks could not be met, the NBC bought books from students and reselling them again as used. The NBC gradually increased the distribution of these textbooks and eventually, they operated 250 bookstores nationally.
