Founded back in 1975 BY Jim Jannard, today they make more than just sunglasses, for which they are known for.   They make backpacks, shoes and more.   Their headquarters are located in Foothill Ranch, California.   In 2007, they merged with the company, Luxottica.

Job Description / Average Wage

Sales Lead: You will lead the team of employees in your store.   You will make sure that they know all company policy, as well as make sure that the store is ran smoothly.     Every store doesn’t employ much, because of their size.   The average sales lead gets paid around $10 to $15 a hour.

Sales Associate: You will ring up customers, stock shelves, as well as inform customers on what each product is all about.   You will also run returns, as well as fill out paperwork from time to time.   On average, you will find that you will get paid anywhere from $8 to $10 a hour, based on experience.

Backroom: Working in the backroom, you’re going to assist any trucks that come in with inventory.   You’re going to unpack it, make sure that the inventory is good and price it.   Once priced, you’ll bring it to the floor where you will stock it and make sure that everything looks cleaned and organized.   The average wage for this position can start at $8 per hour and go up from there.

Store Management:   Running the whole store, you’re going to make sure that the store is running according to company policy.   You’re going to help assign tasks, hire employees as well as make sure that everyone is doing their job.   Since the stores are rather small, you’re going to be working with one or two other people depending on the time of the season.   The average wage of a manager of the entire store will start at $12 per hour and go up from there based on experience.
