Founded back in 1895, today they are a subsidiary of the company, Carter’s.   Today, they are known for their high quality children’s clothing that includes shirts, pants, shoes and more.   The are highly known for their overalls.   Today they have over 100 outlet stores located throughout the United States.

Job Description / Average Wage

Sales Associate: You will be responsible for folding clothes, stocking the shelving with clothing, as well as running the cash register and more.   You will be responsible for making sure that the store is running at 100%.   You will answer to the main store manager.   The average pay for this job is $8 to $11 a hour.

Backroom:   Working in the backroom of the store, you’re going to be responsible for organizing the backroom.   You’re going to price mark as well as organize the backroom according to the company plan.   You’re going to make sure that the main floor is fully stocked as well as help any associate with any problem that they may have with the merchandise.   The average wage is anywhere from $8 to $11 per hour.

Assistant Manager: You will assign tasks to the employees that are working your shift, as well as answer to the main manager.   You will basically perform all the duties that the sales associate performs, and more.   You may be asked to open and close the shop.   The average pay is anywhere from $9+ a hour.
