Job Description/Average Wage
Server: The server takes the orders from the customers and helps to get them into their seating arrangements. The server may take the order over the phone and prepare a package of to-go foods for pick-up. The server may need to explain some of the cuisines that are being served or perhaps let the customers know the daily specials. The average wage is $8.00 an hour.
Lead: As a lead, you’re going to be in charge of running the front of the restaurant. You’re going to help assign tasks, as well as making sure everything is running smoothly. If anything is wrong, you’re going to have the final decision if the main manager isn’t present. You will also answer to the general manager with any issues that you may have. The average wage for this position is anywhere from $8 to $11 a hour.
