History of Papa Murphy’s

Founded way back in 1981, Papa Murphy’s today is one of the largest take and bake based pizza companies.   They have a unique concept where you pick up the pizza at home, and bake it at home.   They have more than 1,000 locations today in more than 30 states.   Just about all of the pizza places are franchised, and they are the 5th largest pizza place in the United States.

Job Description / Average Wage

Team Member: As a team member, you’re going to do various duties in the store itself.   You will assist customers with their order, where you will prepare the pizza to the customer’s needs.     You will ring them up at the cash register, as well as answer questions that they have.     The average wage is $7 to $10 a hour.

Kitchen Staff: As the kitchen staff, you’re going to help prep the kitchen, as well as open and shut it down.   You’re going to be in charge of making sure that all the ingredients are prepped properly, as well as ensure that all the food is prepared in an orderly fashion.   You may also assist with other various duties such as helping the main manager.   The average wage is anywhere from $8 to $10 a hour.
