History Party America

Party America started in 1980 and it then turned out to be the best darn party store in the Western United States located in California and Colorado. It was in August 2003, Minneapolis based Paper Warehouse was purchased making the 100th stores of the Party family. The expansion continues throughout Minnesota, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Tucson, Arizona and Franchise locations in other states.

When in October 2004, the Wisconsin based Party Concepts was purchased; this added over 130 more locations of the company. These stores operate under the names Paper Factory and Paper Outlet stores.

The company’s product selection is composed of the so called Everyday category making up about 80% of the and several types of party or celebration you can think of, themes like first birthdays, baby showers, weddings, luaus, and so much more. The Seasonal category of items is constantly changing in our store locations as we move in and out of each season like New Year’s bash through Valentine’s Day, Mardi Gras, Chinese New Year, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Passover, Cinco de Mayo, Graduation, 4th of July, Labor Day Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Hanukkah.

Job Description/ Salary Averages

Business Analyst:   This person has the responsibility of making and recommending solution for the business to be competitive; documenting and analysing the required information and data; understanding the technical designs as well as the specifications; evaluating the information gathered through workshops and surveys, business process description and task analysis; effectively communicating with internal teams and external clients to deliver functional requirements like GUI, screen and interface designs; acting as an interface between business units, technology teams and support teams. The annual salary will expectedly range between $62K to $67K.

Cashier: This person receives the payment of the customers and may also assist the needs of the clients. He/She knows about pricing scheme and promotional offerings of the company. He/She expects to receive an hourly salary of $8.
