Job Description/Wage Averages
General Manager: This is a key management position of which you may supervise and train a team to ensure excellent guest service standards; oversee food preparation, safety and quality; and develop ideas to exceed sales goals. You will be directing the entire restaurant operations. The annual salary ranges $38k to $54k.
Shift Manager: The Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing the restaurant operations during a shift by following the company guidelines, policies and procedures. He/She will also be responsible for delivering quality guest service, coaching, training and developing team members, and managing inventory, labor and cash handling. The hourly rate is in the average ranging $7 to $8.
Pizza Chef: This position is in charge of making pizza and preparing the ingredients according to the company’s standard recipe. You’re going to also assist with stocking ingredients as well as ensuring that the back of the kitchen stays clean. The average wage can start at $8 per hour.
Host/Hostess: This position is in charge of overseeing the dining area to ensure quality and unique dining experience. He/She will manage dining personnel too, arrange and schedule reservations for different occasions; coordinates with the staff in preparing for events and may also assign key employees in the dining area. The average wage can start at $8 per hour.
Cashier: The cashier process the payments made by the customers whether in cash or through credit cards; may respond to customer inquiries in person or through phone; must ensure quality customer service at all times. The average wage can start at $8 per hour.
