History of Puma

In 1924, brothers Rudolf and Adolf Dassler established the company “Dassler brothers Shoe Factory” in Herzogenaurach, Germany. The first success of Dassler shoes marked when Jesse Owens won four gold medals at the Olympic Games on 1936 in Berlin. In 1948, Rudolf Dassler established the PUMA Schuhfabrik Rudolf Dassler. The company was registered on October 1, 1948.

Sales Associate: .The sales associate, regardless of the type of product they sell, their primary duties are to interest buyers and purchasing agents in their merchandise or services and to address clients’ questions and concerns. This person demonstrates their products and advice clients on how using these products can reduce costs and/or increase revenue. This man spends much of its time traveling to and visiting with prospective buyers and current clients. The sales associate has an hourly rate of $8 to $10.

Product Manager: The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements. His works also include defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support teams to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. This person’s receives an annual salary of $53k to $60k.

District Manager: The general role of district manager is to direct all activities required to achieve district goals, including sales and profit objectives, human capital investment and retention, client service, loss prevention, payroll and operating expenses and merchandise presentation. This person is receiving an annual salary of $102k to $112k.

PUMA Team Member:   A team member is someone who works in a support role for a company’s programs and overall mission. This person works in a wide range of industries, such as education, technical or sales. Team members perform a variety of duties and work on all phases of a project, from beginning stages to completion. The primary responsibility of team members is to have a complete understanding of the goals of a project and their company’s guidelines. This position obtains a salary of $8 to $9 hourly.
