Founded back in 1909, Radisson Hotels today are one of the leading, full service hotel chains that can be found in more than 70 countries.   They have over 400 locations, and you can find their very first location in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where their headquarters aren’t that far, being located in Minnetonka, Minnesota.

Job Description / Average Wage

Front Desk Agent: You will greet guests, answer phones, as well as assist them at the counter, where you will take reservations, as well as help guests get their rooms.   You will help them with their room, as well as give them any information that they need to know about the hotel.   The average wage is $8 to $11 a hour.

Customer Service:   Similar to the front agent job, the customer service representatives will be in charge of helping customers with any problems that they have with their stay, their room and more.   The customer service agent will also assist the front desk with any issues that they may have.   The average wage is $8 to $11 per hour.

Housekeeping: You will be in charge of cleaning the rooms to the company’s standard.   You will refill any items, change bedsheets, vacuum and more.   You will also wash, and clean linens in the laundry room of the hotel.   The average wage is $8+ a hour.

Supervisor: You will watch over a particular department, whether it be in the restaurant, or the hotel, you will assist the employees in whatever job they need help with.   You will process paperwork, as well as make sure that the company is running at 100%.     The starting pay is around $10+ a hour.

Sales:   Working in sales, you’re going to be responsible with keeping in contact with older customers, newer ones and you’ll try to draw up new business with newer customers throughout the town.   You’ll be expected to drive to their location and hard sell the hotel as well as answer any questions that they may have.   The average wage for this position starts at $10 per hour.
