Romano’s Manager Salary
Romano’s Macaroni and Grill is a privately owned Italian style chain of casual dining restaurants. The restaurant chain is owned by Golden Gate Capital and is currently headquartered in Dallas, Texas. Romano’s Macaroni and Grill has restaurants in over 10 countries and they also offer packaged products manufactured by General Mills.
The manager for Romano’s is responsible for the restaurant operations and making key decisions everyday. They monitor and check the equipment and tools used for cooking to guarantee that the workflow is not interrupted. They also make sure that the kitchen would make the customers feel comfortable as well.
They usually find the time to do floor walking to greet guests and help if things get busy. Also, there are customer complaints that would need to be addressed and the manager usually diffuses the situation. The managers always have an action plan for the day so they can work more efficiently.
General Manager
- Salary: A general manager can get $45,000 to $50,000. Based on experience and performance.
- Bonuses: Bonus are not provided by the company as part of the salary incentive for the company.
- Profit Sharing: Currently, there are no options to get shared profits as part of the bonus plan.
- Stock Options: Romano’s do not provide stock options as part of the salary package.
Shift Manager
- Salary: The pay heavily depends on experience. A shift manager can get anywhere from $15,000 – $20,000.
- Bonuses: Cash bonuses are also not currently being offered to shift managers.
- Profit Sharing: Shift managers also do not get shared profits as part of the salary package.
- Stock Options: Like bonuses and profit sharing, stock options are not offered by the company.
