Subway Manager Salary
Subway restaurants are usually fairly small. If you don’t know by now, they are all independently owned, since they are a franchised based company. You will find that your salary, as well as bonuses are going to vary greatly with your owner.
Since each store will technically have a different owner, you can use the numbers below to figure out on what you should expect to be paid as either an assistant, or main manager.
Store Manager
- Salary: A Subway store manager is generally either paid hourly, or on a salary basis. You will find that the typical Subway manager will get paid anywhere from $16,000 to $42,000 a year.
- Bonuses: Bonuses are very rare in the Subway industry. This is all going to depend on your owner. If you do get bonuses, you will find that you shouldn’t expect no more than $1,000 a year.
- Profit Sharing: Subway’s generally don’t participate with profit sharing.
- Stock Options: Since they aren’t listed on the NYSE, they won’t offer stock options.
Assistant Store Manager
- Salary: An assistant manager at Subway gets paid significantly less than your main manager. Expect to receive anywhere around $12,000 to as much as $26,000 a year.
- Bonuses: Bonuses are very rare. Depending on your owner, the assistant usually won’t receive a bonus, but you will find that the main manager will on occasions.
- Profit Sharing: Subway’s generally don’t participate with profit sharing.
- Stock Options: Since they aren’t listed on the NYSE, they won’t offer stock options.
Other Manager Positions
- Shift Manager: $8 to $12 a hour
- District Manager: $68,000 to $80,000 a year
