Bank Teller: A bank teller is an employee of a bank that deals witth customers daily. They are the first personnels that clients or customers come in contact with when going to the bank. He/She handles cash deposits, withdrawals, and money related transactions such as dealing with checks, payrolls, receiving payments, exchanging foreign currency and many more. This person must have customer service skills that will enable customers to meet their banking needs with ease. He/She should be able to attend to the client’s needs quickly and efficiently. The hourly wage average for this position ranges from $10 to $13.
Branch Supervisor: This person is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the particular branch one is assigned to. There are different locations for banks and the responsibility of this supervisor is to see it to that his/her specific location operates in accordance to the standards, policies and goals of the bank. Aside from supervising operations, one is also responsible in supervising the employees, building relationship with clients, help market the bank, making decisions such as in bank security concerns and attend to client complaints and find solutions for them. The hourly wage average for this position ranges from $15 to $20.
Customer Service Representative: This personnel caters to the needs of customers. He/She help customers regarding questions, informations and complains. Usually these representatives is of service to customers through telephone calls and the internet. Without face to face conversations, this person must be able to reach to the customers effectively without misinterpretations and misunderstandings. When this representative deals with customers personally of course one must be able to present his/her self in a sense that one is ready to foster their needs. Financial Advisor: This person helps people manage their finances. This person will assess the strengths and weakness of client’s regarding financial related concerns. After assessing and evaluating, this advisor will come up with strategies and advises to improve one’s financial management and prevent financial losses. This person will also come up with suggestions that will help in expanding client’s wealth. One will also anticipate potential losses as well as gains that will contribute to the proper handling of finances. The annual wage average of this position ranges from $45,000 to $47,000.
