Texas Land & Cattle Steak House was established in 1993 in the Lone Star state. Texas Land & Cattle restaurants are reminiscent of an authentic Texas ranch house with large fireplaces and hand-peeled split logs. This restaurant features an array of high quality mesquite-grilled steaks, smoked sirloin, chicken, ribs, fish, shrimp and many delectable combinations. At presently, the restaurant has grown into 26 locations.
Job Description/Wage Averages
General Manager: This position takes charge f the overall restaurant operations. He/She must be coordinating the restaurant staff and other restaurant resources; must spearhead the planning on sales techniques; must have knowledge of profit and loss, possess excellent communication skills, and a positive, results oriented attitude. He/She must ensure that everyone are working for the attainment of company goals. The average wage for this position starts at $13+ per hour.
Assistant Manager: This person works with the restaurant general manager. He/She will not only be engage in strategic planning but will help in providing exceptional food quality and guest service; help in the training and development of their staff. He/She will also focus on building sales, controlling costs, and learning all aspects of our business. The average wage for this position starts at $11+ per hour.
Server: The job of the server is to make sure the guest will experience satisfaction when they dine with the restaurant. Servers are responsible for attending guests’ needs; letting guests understand their menu and wine selections; providing suggestions based on the needs and preferences f the customers; presenting daily specials. The average wage for this position starts at $3+ per hour plus tips.
Dishwasher: This person should ensure that the dishes and other kitchen wares are well cleaned and sanitized as well as stored in the proper place. You’ll also assist the waitstaff and kitchen staff with any issues that they may have. The average wage for this position starts at $8+ per hour.
Cashier: This person works with the restaurant manager, servers, and guests in all sales transactions. The cashier will also help the servers in the processing of bills-of-sale and credit card transactions. The average wage for this position starts at $8+ per hour.
