History of Tim Horton’s
Tim Horton is a Canadian coffee shop known for its coffee and doughnuts. The coffee shop was founded in 1964 Hamilton, Ontario by Canadian hockey players Tim Horton and Jim Charade. Tim Horton partnered with an investor named Ron Joyce in 1967 who quickly took over operations after Tim Horton died in a car crash in 1974. Tim Horton’s franchise spread rapidly and eventually overtook McDonald’s as Canada’s largest food service operator. Tim Horton Company owned twice as many Canadian outlets as McDonald’s and system-wide sales also surpassed those of McDonald’s Canadian operations as of 2002.
The chain accounted for 22.6% of all fast food industry revenues in Canada as of 2005. Tim Horton now has 3,527 system wide restaurants, including 2,971 in Canada and 556 in the United States. Ron Joyce’s aggressive expansion of the Tim Horton’s business resulted in one major change in the coffee and donut restaurants for Canada that is the ration of doughnut shops surpassed those of all other countries.

Job Description/Average wage
Store Front Cashier: The store front cashier is responsible for all sales to customers. They must be pleasant and helpful to the customers. Also they take care of packaging the products that are bought and informing customers of any specials that are being offered. They need to be able to count change and balance their cash drawer at the end of the shift. The store front cashier pay range is between $8.00 to $10.00 depending on their experience and time with the company.
Baker: The baker is responsible for all donuts and other bakery items that are baked within the store. They must make sure that the bakery items are made daily and kept fresh. They also are responsible for ordering supplies needed to make the bakery products. The average wage for a Tim Horton’s baker is $10.00 per hour.
Cashier: You’re going to collect payments from the customers in exchange of the company’s products. You will also greet the customers as they come to your for payment and answer their queries regarding the company’s other services or products. You must count/recount your drawers and check on the receipts and checks for accounting day-to-day sales. The average wage for this job is $9.39 per hour.
Supervisor: You’re going to help the sales manager in supervising and leading the team to reach the ultimate sales objective of the company as well as providing customer service, completion of duties and of modifying the sales techniques plans. Additional job includes doing after care in the station. The average salary for this position is $10.18 an hour.
Order Selector: Your main responsibility is to monitor the inventory of products in the company. You must ensure that all products are readily available for use and must carefully choose products to be purchased if necessary. The common salary for this job is $27, 000 to $29, 000 a year.
Server: Your primary job is to serve the orders on the customers table and clean used areas for the next set of customers.
