Wendy’s or otherwise known as Wendy’s Old Fashioned Hamburgers is an international fast food chain restaurant founded on November 15, 1969 by Dave Thomas in Columbus, Ohio, United States. It is the world’s third largest hamburger fast food chain as of March 2010 with more or less 6, 650 sites in different countries. On January 29, 2006, the company decided to transfer its headquarters to Dublin, Ohio. On April 24, 2008, the company merge with Triarc, the parent company of Arbys.

The menu of Wendy’s consists of hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, beverages, French fries and others additional food depending on the season. 77% of its restaurants are franchised and majority is located in North America.

Job Descriptions and Wage Averages

Cashier: You are expected to be responsible for helping customers when they are placing their orders, making the correct change, and finish the process in a friendly and courteous manner. You should be able to work in a busy environment. A cashier average wage ranges from $7.00-$8.00 per hour depending on experience and length of time on the job.
